Robbie Mendez – Solid (Original Mix) [Buy @ Beatport] – JUMMP Records opens 2015 with introducing another new name in label’s roster. Please welcome 17 year old Dutch DJ and producer Robbie Mendez. He started with producing at the age of 11 experimenting with different genres and now focused on House music. His homeland Netherlands has always been an electronic dance music’s Mecca and Robbie confidently continues this tradition with his exceptional production and especially with new single ‘Solid‘. This one is certainly something to get excited about. What’s so special here? Almost everything: from amazing piano melody supported by catchy synth lead with dreamy feel, to majestic bold-sounding synth-brass which perfectly sits on a drums and designed to work incredibly on a dance floor. Robbie has even managed to salt an arrangement with a piece of Rock/Pop drum-set which is unusual to this type of music, but sounds inimitable in this case. In result we have an amazing Progressive House cut to start a good year for a label and all JUMMP artists and fans.
